PADI ReActivate: Scuba Refresher

ReActivate is the engaging, efficient way to refresh your scuba skills. Move quickly through topics you know well, dive deeper on topics where your knowledge may have lapsed.

Schedule optional inwater practice with a dive professional and receive a new card that recognizes your new “ReActivated” date.

Why ReActivate

Your PADI certification never expires; but if you haven’t been diving in a while, it’s better to be over-prepared than risk a problem because you forget something important. Dive Charters also appreciate seeing a recent ReActivated date on your certification card.

Course cost and what is included.

The PADI ReActivate course at SUCI costs $250 and includes:

  1. PADI ReActivate eLearning (Online scuba knowledge refresher)
  2. A two hour training session in the TPASC dive tank with a PADI pro.
  3. Full scuba diving membership in SUCI for the balance of the current year.
  4. Membership in the Ontario Underwater Council which includes enrollment in the $5 million liability insurance program
  5. SUCI maintains a small supply of scuba equipment for use of members while enrolled in either a ReActivate or Open Water Diver course. Normally participants will already own scuba fins, mask and snorkel to ensure a good fit.
  6. PADI Divers who complete both the knowledge review and the dive skills refresher receive a replacement PADI certifcation card with ReActivate on it.
    • Divers certifed through another training organization who complete both the knowledge review and the dive skills refresher receive a PADI ReActivate Recognition Card.
