Description: Welcome to the final step in your Open Water and Rescue certification. For some, the first opportunity to see how Mr. Bass, Miss Perch, and other marine life live. You will also have a great opportunity to meet your fellow SUCI members, ask questions, and trade stories. There will be a BBQ for Saturday and Sunday lunch at a cost of $15.00 per day and a late-night campfire.
Each student is responsible for his or her own equipment (BCD, Tanks (3-4), Regulator, Gauges including a compass, 7mm wet suit, Dive Watch, Mask, Finns, Snorkel and 22-28 lbs of weights). Marmora and Lake is a beautiful little municipality, part of Hastings County, and located in central southern Ontario. It is equidistant from Ottawa and Toronto and the main village is located along Hwy 7, a major transportation route for trucks and vehicles traveling to and through those destinations. The largest village, Marmora, is surrounded by water from Crowe River, Crowe Lake, and Beaver Creek.

Directions from Toronto:
Head east on Hwy. 401. Take exit 436 to merge with Hwy.115 north towards Peterborough. At the end of Hwy. 115, head east on Hwy. #7. Follow Hwy. #7 for approximately 50km and turn left onto Booster Park Rd and follow to the end of the road. Approximate trip time 2.5 hours.
