There’s a small parking lot, up a hill from the beach where we’ll enter the water. It’s recommended we gear up at our cars. Wagons for gear would be helpful. If we have shore support, we can bring wagons and leave them at the beach. Boaters tend to troll the area, so I’ll bring a surface marker buoy to attach to a crib in the dive site. More info about the dive will follow in the pre-dive briefing.

Lorne Park is a shore dive located near Gravenhurst about 1.5-2 hours from Toronto. It has a sandy beach entrance with close parking. Vis is good at 10+ feet. Fish gather in a “crib”. There will be at least 2 dives.

Drive from ON-400 N and ON-11 to Gravenhurst. Take the Muskoka District Road 169 exit from ON-11 N. Continue on Bethune Dr. S. Take Winewood Ave E to Lorne St. Continue to the lake to the west.

Tank Fills:

– It’s 6 minutes drive from the dive site
